FAQ

Answers before you quote.

Clear answers for file setup, materials, machine selection, lead times and repeat trade work.

Common questions

Answers before production starts.

What file types can I upload?

DXF and DWG files are preferred. Vector PDF files can also work when they contain real vector cut lines at 1:1 scale. A photo or JPEG saved as a PDF is still an image.

Can you quote if I do not have CAD drawings?

Yes. Send a sketch, measurements, reference images or an existing part and the team can advise what is needed to create a cut-ready file.

What should I include with my quote request?

Include material, thickness, quantity, deadline, pickup or delivery postcode and any finish requirements. If the job has several parts, label each part clearly.

Can I order one-off parts?

Yes. One-off parts, prototypes and repeat production runs can all be quoted, although setup time affects very small jobs.

Common questions

Answers before production starts.

What is the maximum sheet size?

The core cutting tables support sheets up to 3000 x 1500 mm. Larger jobs can usually be panelled, registered and assembled.

What is the CO2 laser bed size?

The corrected CO2 laser production reference is 3000 x 1500 mm, which suits large acrylic and display work when the material and thickness are suitable.

Can you laser cut ACM?

ACM is usually routed rather than laser cut because the aluminium skins and plastic core respond differently to heat. CNC routing gives a cleaner, safer result for ACM panels and trays.

Can you cut metals and acrylic in the same order?

Yes. Jobs can combine fiber laser, CO2 laser, CNC router and digital knife work when the files and materials are prepared clearly.

Common questions

Answers before production starts.

How long does production take?

Many suitable jobs dispatch in 1-5 business days, depending on material availability, file readiness, quantity and current production load.

Do you ship outside Sydney?

Yes. Pickup is available from Botany NSW and freight or delivery can be arranged for suitable jobs.

Can you help with urgent jobs?

Urgent work can be reviewed against current machine capacity. Send the file, material, quantity and deadline so the team can confirm what is realistic.

Do you offer trade accounts?

Repeat trade customers can discuss account workflows, saved production notes and regular ordering arrangements with the team.
